I was on Motherhood Uncenscored’s Blog Talk Radio talking about home-based businesses with a woman who has a fabulous company based on her dream of not looking frumpy. My own jewelry biz was also based on that idea. Hers has become incredibly successful – check out Divas N Babes. I feel really lucky to have been on the show with Tonjia and with Kristen!

In that same entrepreneurial spirit, after reading The Daring Book for Girls, BG decided to start her own palm-reading business. Thankfully, she’s only charging a penny a reading for now.

The built-in dictionary in the Mac OS doesn’t recognize the names of the pantheon of Greek Gods and Goddesses. It’s a disgrace. It’s also a disgrace that I didn’t notice it until I started writing a review for the fabulous and fun new book Gods Behaving Badly about the Greek pantheon in present-day London. I managed to get a preview copy from the publisher and loved it. Go check out my review!
