Sammy is juuust about almost full-force into the "what does this spell" phase, but not quite able yet to grasp the mechanics of things (like if I show/tell her that Buh-Ay-Tee spells bat and then I take off the Buh and put on a Puh, she has zero idea what word it might be). She's teetering on the edge of diving in, though. I can't wait until we're all reading!! :D Eee, I’m excited for you!!
