This was our Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to all our friends – one friend who brought a box of root veggies, another whose agency gave us some gift cards to the grocery store, another friend who came with some pantry staples to stockpile, and another who helped with a paypal gift that covered the rest of the groceries. Their generosity was amazing, and brings tears to my eyes.
Happy Thanksgiving!

And just like no dinner would be complete without dessert, this Thanksgiving wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible support, love, and friendship of so many people. So many amazing and wonderful people have helped or inspired us, helping us along a road that isn’t an easy one.

We were lucky enough to share our dessert bounty with a couple of young women from the church, it’s always wonderful to share joy. And it sounds better if you have 6 people and 5 desserts than 4 people with 5 desserts!
5 desserts isn't overkill

I appear to have done too much, so I’m in some pain. Hoping to go to the zoo tomorrow, though! It’s freeeeee!

OK, I posted the last comment before I read this post. Even with six people and 5 desserts, there would have been plenty for me. (Don’t worry, I really ate WAY too much yesterday.)
