A Gaggle of Book Reviews is a book review site that is a spin off of the blog A Gaggle of Girls.

  • We’re a family of book lovers – Mom; Dad; Big Girl, 9; Middle Girl, 7; Little Girl, 4. A Gaggle of Book Reviews is a blog dedicated to frequent reviews of books for children, young adults, and adults. We review picture books through vampire romances through non-fiction reference books, and everything in between!

The books reviewed on A Gaggle of Book Reviews come from publishers, authors, blog tours, and the library. Receipt of a book is not a guarantee of a good review. However, we prefer to follow the rule, “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”, so we would rather pass on a book to be reviewed than give a negative review.

Our reviews (and quotes from our reviews) have appeared on many websites for publishers, books, and individual authors. We have been featured on a Writers Revealed podcast, and have participated in author interviews through Writers Revealed. Our reviews are frequently published in Boston Now Newspaper, and have been quoted in Newsweek.

We have participated in Virtual Book Tours with Harper Collins, MotherTalk, Parent Bloggers Network, and Mom Central.

We currently have a reviewing relationship with three publishing firms: The Dundurn Group, Hachette Book Group, and William Morrow (a subset of Harper Collins). We have also been fortunate enough to review books sent to us by several authors.

Please contact us if you are interested in discussing a review project – we love to discover new books!
