About Our Gaggle of Girls
The Gaggle of Girls live in a small town on the North Shore of Massachusetts. We have been having a Family Game Night since 2007, which has made for a lot of fun and a big stack of Gamewright games!
About The Girls:
Mackenzie is 11, and in 6th grade. She loves both to cuddle and to be as independent as possible. She’s full of contradictions, but she is a wonderful person to have around. Mackenzie is very smart, and sometimes comes up with concepts that I would never expect. She is very outgoing and gregarious, and will make friends quickly with anyone. Mackenzie loves the outdoors, lizards & snakes, catching hermit crabs, singing & dancing, playing with her sisters and friends, and playing any game at all. She loves to listen to books on tape or her mom reading to her. Mackenzie is incredibly helpful, and a very loyal person.
Isabel is 9, and in 4th grade. She has an imagination that is startling – she’s even created her own little world. The drawback is that sometimes it’s hard to get her back into our world… Isabel is quite the inventor and entrepreneur, and happily creates construction projects for herself. Isabel loves any critter she thinks won’t bite, singing & dancing, being outside, doing anything physical and/or acrobatic, and pretending she’s as old as her sister! Isabel is very cuddly, and a lot of fun. She creates wonderful art projects for wall-hanging, and will quickly rope everyone else into participating with her. She has a lot of energy!
Amelia is 6, and in Kindergarten. She manages to keep up with her older sisters, as well as making friends with anyone close to her own age. Amelia loves to cuddle, and prefers to fall asleep with her head on someone’s arm. She loves to listen to books, play on the computer, singing & dancing, and do anything her sisters are doing. She is very aware that she’s the youngest, and will sometimes ask for help just to get attention, even when she can do it herself. On the flip side, sometimes she doesn’t ask for help when she should. Er, like when she spilled chocolate sauce on everything…
Rachel, aka Mama, has been coping with Chronic Lyme Disease since November 25, 2004, which has meant chronic pain, numbness, and other problems. She loves to read, write, and cook, which has led to freelance writing, her main blog, her book review blog, her recipe blog, and out of her love of free stuff came her product review blog. When she isn’t cooking, writing, or with her nose in a book, she is playing games with the kids, driving them to activities, or doing homeschooling projects with the girls.
