I received a box of BabyGanics organic cleaners without cost from the manufacturer. However, they aren’t paying me for my review, even though this may well sound like it – I just fell in love with their products. Now that many school systems (here’s one example) are eliminating chemical cleaners for the safety of the students, shouldn’t we be using environmentally safe cleaners on our homes as well? Given all the health issues in our family, it made a lot of sense to me!

I was made aware of the Clorox-sponsored What to Expect Guide a Healthy Home, and I don’t think healthy lies with items from Clorox. A healthy home is one without potentially damaging chemicals lurking in the air or on the surfaces you touch. Check out What you need to Know on the BabyGanics site, and then consider what you would like to use while cleaning your home.

She does windows

In the post-baking lull after Thanksgiving, I washed my kitchen and living/dining room floors with the lavender-scented BabyGanics Floor Cleaner. It got up all the nasty ground in gunk (and, um, quite a bit of dog hair), AND it smelled good, AND I didn’t worry about my dogs or cat walking on the wet floor by accident and then having to wash their paws so they wouldn’t ingest chemicals if they licked their paws. The folks at BabyGanics also were happy to tell me that the vegetable surfectants in their products were made from coconut oil and soy oil. So unless your family is allergic to those oils, these are allergy-free.

The BabyGanics All Purpose Household Cleaner did a great job of cleaning the cooked-on gunk on the stove, as well as the normal messes around the sink and counter. I had thought it wouldn’t work as well as the nasty chemicals, but I was very happily surprised. There’s the added bonus that if I realize later the fruit was near where I was spraying that I’m not going to poison us.

My girls had washed the windows with the BabyGanics Glass & Surface Cleaner as soon as we got the products. They have also now cleaned the bathrooms, mirrors, tables, and just about everything else! My only complaint is that they don’t have a toilet-bowl cleaner! :) Due to the normal mommy-time-crunch, I ended up needing to clean my bathroom using the BabyGanics organic cleaners while my oldest daughter was taking a shower. It was great to know that there were no fumes that could damage her (or me!), the cleaners worked at least as well, if not better than, the cleaners with tons of chemicals. The best part is that using the BabyGanics Tub & Tile Cleaner meant that our bathroom smelled like lavender instead of like nasty chemicals! I didn’t have to air it out and freeze everyone for hours!

I’m really impressed with how well the BabyGanics organic cleaners actually clean. The prices aren’t that much higher than chemical-based cleaners, and you get the knowledge that they are safe for everyone to breathe. If you or your family has any health problems, thats a big bonus. OK, it was also really great that my kids could do the cleaning. That’s right up there with the safety and the nice scent. The fact that the cleaners actually work is even better!

The BabyGanics organic cleaners get 5/5 spotlights. They also get special brownie points for selling something my children can use safely for cleaning! I know that I won’t be switching back to harsh chemicals after this.
